Tuilo is the son of Halatir and Telperina, born in Gondolin some ten years after the Nirnaeth Arnoediad. He was raised as a member of the House of the Swallow, but was offered the opportunity to train as a page to Lord Ecthelion in the House of the Fountain. He held this position until the Fall of Gondolin, evacuating in the Western Host via the mountain pass, separately from his parents. They were later reunited and travelled together to the Havens of Sirion, where Tuilo's sister Laire was born.
Tuilo is currently waiting to be as tall as Duilin's longbow so he can join the Swallow archers.
